Unlike traditional Private Equity, which has short time horizons and hence can make operating decisions that may not always serve long-term value creation, we employ a longer-term perspective that promotes sustainable growth, engages management teams in their professional development, and creates value that allows buyers, sellers, and employees alike to realize their goals.

We spend a lot of early energy focused on team, culture, and relationships:.

PHASE 2

Optimization & Modernization

With relationships and teams on strong footing, we turn our attention to operations:

  • Inventory and document key systems & processes
  •  Collaborate to build a strategic roadmap for phased optimization
    and investment
  • Job #1 is to not break anything!
  • Then we can make it better while maintaining team morale and company performance.

PHASE 3

Long Term Strategic Growth

The previous efforts drive incremental improvements, we then turn to long-term strategic growth initiatives:

  • Product diversification
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Sales and marketing campaigns (aligned with operational investments)
  •  Inorganic growth options – in some cases, one investment can serve as
    a platform company on which to add bolt-on acquisitions
